About Me
Hi, I’m Joan.
I’ve spent over 20 years working in corporate environments.
In 2025 I made a decision that changed my life. I decided it was time to stop forcing myself into environments that no longer fit who I am.
I decided in 2025 to close that chapter of my life and walk into my purpose. That’s when I came up with ComfortCare Rides for Seniors, a service built on safety, patience, and respect for the elderly.
Helping others has always been a passion of mine, especially seniors. I’m naturally patient, I enjoy conversation, and I genuinely care about people feeling safe and supported.
I’m proud of this new chapter, and I’m looking forward to the people I’ll meet and help along the way. 🌿

Services Offered
ComfortCare Rides provides transportation support for medical appointments (including wait and return service when needed), pharmacy pickup, grocery pickup and drop off, general errand assistance, transportation to social outings or family visits, and both short and long distance rides based on scheduling and availability. Additional services include prescription delivery and mobility friendly support such as extra time for entering and exiting the vehicle, curbside assistance, and patient coordination (no lifting required).

Pricing is based on distance, time, and the type of ride requested.
Local Trips Starting at $20
Long Distance Medical Trips Quote available
Mileage Rate $2.00 per mile
Prescription Pickup $15 flat rate
Wait Time $10 per 15 minutes

Southern Maryland: Charles County, St. Mary’s County, Prince George’s County.
Northern Virginia: Alexandria, Arlington, Fairfax, Springfield, Woodbridge.
Washington, DC: By appointment only.
